Optical closure МTOK-V2

The dome closure MTOK-B2 is designed for the installation of direct buried optical cable laid in soils of all categories, through rivers, lakes and swamps. This is achieved through the use of special cable inputs, each cover a specific type of cables. . An oval input allowed to accommodate a loop of optical loose tubes without cutting. The loop is laid out in the tray on the opposite side of the splice trays.

The input, central strength element mounting and the sealing are carried out using special cable inputs, so unique characteristics and capabilities are provided:

• reliable fixing of armored cable (tensile forces up to 15 kN),
• protection against twisting of armored cables during operation,
• an electrical contact of the cable armor with the body frame of a special input (fitting),
• the ability to isolate or to connect the armor of all cables directly in the closure,
• ensuring longitudinal sealing of the cable,
• the ability to withdraw wire from the cable armor of each cable (instrumentation).
